My name is Melissa and I am a Photographer, Recipe Developer and tireless explorer of culture and food. Practically, I am based around the world and have been traveling and living in different countries over the past three years. But nonetheless I was born and raised in Vienna, a city known for its pastries and fine desserts, hence my passion for anything sweet.

Growing up I was exposed to two cultures my Nigerian heritage and Austrian culture. From making apple strudle to cooking traditional Nigerian Jollof rice or maui maui, my culinary palette was strongly shaped by the influence from both sides. And so this Blog is my way of exploring my culinary heritage and combining the two in unique ways. 

Photography is my way of sharing what I create and cook everyday with you and has been a life long passion. My first camera was a Polaroid 600, and ever since then I have been hooked and passionate about photography. In 2016 I started my food photography journey by mostly teaching myself and taking a few additional classes. Now I am fortunate enough to work for big and small brands, creating food photography that tells a story. 

This Blog is a home of exploration, discovery and good food and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
